Farm to Skin: Wrinkle Support and Skin Serum

So many of us are becoming informed and empowered when it comes to reading ingredients and ditching products that are harmful to our health and switching to products with better ingredients. We are using websites like www.ewg.org to rate the products for us or carrying around lists in our purses to compare to ingredient lists at the store.

We realized can no longer trust natural products on the store shelves because of greenwashing and quite frankly, it is absolutely ridiculous we have to go through all of the above measures to find a quality non-toxic baby shampoo or even a tube of lipstick! Ugh. It should NOT have to be this way.

Companies are getting away with hiding cancer causing ingredients, junk in the word fragrance, and other crud in beauty products that should cause such alarm if it wasn’t hidden in plain site. How? Simple. The cosmetics laws haven’t been changed since the 1930’s and quite frankly we all know science has come a LONG way in figuring out what is good and bad for our bodies. I mean, they use to allow smoking in hospitals, yet they allow so much crud in the products we use every single day. I mean, companies are legally selling eye lash growth serums that are known to cause a host of problems and it is legal! And just this week this report came out about finding asbestos in cosmetics!

Some of us know companies, that have done all the work for us so we can easily ditch and switch products like Young Living. We have moisturizers, wrinkle creams, lotions, face wash, baby shampoo, diaper cream and even a makeup line. Yes, makeup! It is called Savvy Minerals.

Some of us, we take it a step further. We have started making our own products to save money and to know exactly what is in our products. I can’t make my own makeup, but I can make a wrinkle serum. This recipe I like because I can whip up pretty quick, makes my eyes feel so smooth, only costs about $12 to make and lasts me almost 2 months! It is a wrinkle roller that I have called, Be-YOU-tiful. It is ALL organic, made with Young Living Essential Oils and is so easy to make! I pair it with my Jade Roller and apply it at night before I go to bed. It has Sandalwood and Frankincense in it, google those essential oils and you will understand that this roller also helps support sleep and my immune system too! It is more than just an around the eye wrinkle serum. Although those essential oils are found in so many of Young Living’s beauty products for a darn good reason!
